Heartwarming Outreach

On December 14, 2024, the Jayz Agnew Foundation, in partnership with the I Am Mentorship Program, hosted a powerful community outreach event that exemplified the spirit of giving back and supporting local youth. Held at the Golden Corral in Largo, Maryland, the gathering brought together community teens, foundation supporters, and local leaders for an afternoon filled with connection, inspiration, and gratitude.

“This event is about more than just a meal,” said Juanita O. Agnew, founder of the Jayz Agnew Foundation. “It’s about showing our young people that they matter, that they have a bright future, and that their community stands behind them every step of the way.”

The foundation, dedicated to equipping at-risk youth with life skills and resources, provided a hearty lunch for all attendees. A highlight of the event was the presentation of gift cards to 15 local teens—a gesture that Juanita described as “a token of encouragement to remind them of their potential and the incredible leaders they can become.”
