The Jayz Agnew Foundation is honored to host the second annual Community Gun Violence Awareness Walk on November 16, 2024, as we come together to raise awareness about the devastating impact of gun violence on our communities.
This event is a heartfelt tribute to Jayz Agnew, a beloved young man whose life was tragically cut short on November 11, 2022, after being shot in an act of senseless violence while raking leaves outside his home. To honor his memory and highlight the need for safer environments for our youths, walkers will retrace the steps Jayz took daily on his journey from school to home.
By walking this meaningful path, we emphasize the importance of providing safe spaces for our youths as they pursue their education and dreams. Together, we take a stand against gun violence and work toward building a future where every child can walk through their neighborhood without fear.

All participants will receive refreshments, ensuring everyone stays energized throughout the walk. Walkers and volunteers will receive event T-shirts to create visibility and unity as we march for change.
